Growth Groups

What is a Growth Group?
A Growth Group is a spiritually based concept where people meet weekly in a home from September through May for the purpose of learning more about God and His Word, prayer and developing relationships. Bible Baptist Church is about people, and a Growth Group allows our people to develop relationships and community among each other. it's important to note that Growth Groups are not just meetings, but a group of people who are committed to one another on a deeper level of friendship.

What Happens at a Growth Group?
Because Growth Groups are comprised of different people, no two groups are identical. On any given occasion, a Growth Group can be any or all of the following:

A place to meet new people and develop friendships and relationships that have substance.
A chance to learn more about God, His Word and His plan for your life.
A place to have fun, laugh, relax and socialize with other people sharing a common bond in Jesus Christ.
A place to discover the gifts that God has given you and to use those gifts to help others.
An opportunity to openly pray and worship with a small group of trusted friends.
A great environment to introduce friends, family and acquaintances to a relationship and life with Jesus Christ.

Yes, Children are invited!
At Bible Baptist Church, children are important, and there are several groups which are set up to handle children. For those of you with children in 6th through 12th grades, we would like to remind you of other opportunities for your youth on Wednesday nights, from 6:30 to 8:30 right at the church.

ShockWave: 6th thru 8th Gr.
PowerSurge: 9th thru 12th Gr.

For those of you meeting on Friday nights and have children, we would encourage you to bring your children to AWANA - age 4 thru 5th grade 6:30-8:30 at the church.
